What You Can Expect on the 2015 Acura RDX

June 20th, 2014 by

When it comes to features, beating the 2015 Acura RDX is a challenge. We’re excited to be able to offer this impressive small crossover to our drivers here at Chicagoland Acura Dealers. It can be tough to break down just what it is that will appeal to a given driver, so we thought we would go over everything the RDX has to offer.

Features Abound on the RDX

This small luxury crossover is available in two styles: the basic model and the basic model with the Technology Package. Both trims come standard with front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is an option on either style.

Standard amenities include rear privacy glass, heated mirrors, a sunroof, automatic headlights, a built in rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Bluetooth connectivity, and more.

Upgrading to the Technology Package adds on foglights, a power liftgate, xenon headlights, a navigation system that features real-time weather and traffic, voice controls, GPS-linked climate control, and a 10-speaker ELS surround-sound system with 15 GB of music storage.

A Powertrain to Depend On

Not only is the 3.5L V6 under the hood of the RDX one of the most impressive engines we’ve seen in a small crossover, but it’s fuel-efficient too. Drivers of the 2015 Acura RDX 6-Spd AT will enjoy an EPA-estimated highway fuel economy of 28 mpg.* And when you put the pedal to the floor, you get access to 273 hp and 251 lb-ft of torque. How’s that for modern engineering?

Test Drive an RDX Today

The 2015 Acura RDX is available now, and if you’re looking for a vehicle that straddles the line between small crossover and large SUV, you’ve found it. Acura’s luxury crossover manages to give drivers an incredible fuel economy while still feeling spacious in the cabin. It’s the best of both worlds.
