The 2015 Acura TLX is Priced to Own

July 12th, 2014 by

We have been praising the 2015 Acura TLX since we first learned about it, and it looks more than capable of replacing the two outgoing sedans—the TL and the TSX—while making itself something wholly new. And we’re excited to say that it is one of the most affordably priced sport sedans on the market today, starting at just $30,995 (MSRP).*

But there’s so much more to love about the TLX than its affordable price.

One of the Best Sedans Around

We know that when you come to the Acura brand, you’re already assuming you’re going to get one of the best vehicles on the road today, but rarely is this truer than with the 2015 Acura TLX.

First, you have two different engine choices:

  • A 2.4L four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission capable of 206 hp and 182 lb-ft of torque.
  • A 3.5L V6 paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission rated at 290 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque.

And while both engines come with Acura’s Precision All-Wheel Steer (P-AWS), if you’re looking for the famous Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), you’re going to want the V6 engine, as it isn’t available on the four-cylinder.

Add on the traditional luxury accoutrements and high-tech features like an ELS premium audio system, remote engine start, the next generation of AcuraLink, noise dampening acoustic foam, a multiview rearview camera, and more.

But the best picture we can paint of the TLX requires putting you in the driver’s seat.
