Spy Photos of the 2015 TLX Spotted
Though the 2013 Acura TL and TSX are surely still in many Chicagoland drivers’ minds, there’s never a slow day in the auto business, and there have been spy photos cropping up of what looks to be the model that replaces both the TL and TSX – the Acura TLX – despite its camouflage.
Designed to fill in the space between the ILX and the RLX, most of what we know about the TLX is speculative at best, but while we wait for more information, lets take a look at the two vehicles its replacing to get an idea of what we may be able to expect.
2013 Acura TL
One of the best options as an entry-level luxury sedan, many drivers will be sad to see the Acura TL go. Some of the standard features that made the vehicle so attractive included:
- Bluetooth phone connectivity
- Leather upholstery
- Dual-zone climate control
- Optional built-in navigation system
The 3.5L V6 under the hood is nothing to sneeze at either, offering 280 hp and 254 lb-ft of torque, and the optional Super Handling All-Wheel Drive system gave drivers the extra control they needed when they needed it.
2013 Acura TSX
Although the TL is certainly a popular model, the TSX has its fair share of fans as well, with a spacious interior and sporty handling that complement its luxurious features and optional V6 powertrain very well.
Other options – such as 18-inch alloy wheels, a road noise-canceling audio feature, and a firmer suspension – let drivers make the TSX into the sedan that fit their needs perfectly.

There is not much known on the TLX, but it would not surprise us to have it mix together all of the things drivers love about Acura models, as that’s what the other new vehicles in the lineup look to be doing. In the meantime, you can always get an update on new models at a Chicagoland Acura dealership. We can’t wait to see you.
