Exciting New and Upcoming Acura Models for Chicagoland Drivers
Here at Pauly Acura, we’re always thinking about what design innovations will be offered with new models, and we get rather excited when news of the next edition of a vehicle comes our way. You might not check the auto news sites and blogs daily, but we’re here to keep you informed. Sometimes a vehicle, like the recently announced Acura RLX, is so cutting-edge that we have to share it with you.
The RLX Replaces the Acura RL
To start with, the Acura RLX looks like it’s set the bar even higher in the luxury sedan market. The most sophisticated Acura in production, beyond even the NSX sports car, the RLX features a new suspension, an electronically adjusting all-wheel drive system, and a 310-hp V6 engine with variable cylinder management to maximize fuel efficiency.
Replacing the Acura RL, the RLX adds on new safety features as well, including a system designed to help prevent lane drifting by steering the vehicle back when it starts to wander off course, as well as an adaptive cruise control that can stop itself in an emergency.
The New MDX Prototype
Although the RLX is the only new production model announced, Acura has also previewed a prototype of the new MDX, which features an aggressive front end design, unique Jewel Eye headlights, a wider and lower stance for more interior space, and the next generation AcuraLink connectivity system offering traffic info, SMS/email capabilities, Pandora radio, and more.
Acura NSX Concept
Finally, though we may have some time before it hits the streets, there’s the NSX concept. This stunning sports car is honed to aerodynamic perfection after hundreds of hours in the wind tunnel, and it just begs to cut through traffic and speed down the highway. A super car in form and function, the NSX is engineered to make it easy for the driver and vehicle to function as one.
Stay Tuned to Pauly Acura
It may be some time before the MDX is available, and while we couldn’t stop staring at the NSX no official release date has been established for this concept car. Look for the 2014 RLX soon, however, and check back with us for news about other new Acura vehicles.
