Could the TSX Sport Wagon Be Going?
One of the worst things to hear when you work in the automotive business is that one of your favorite vehicles might be on the way out. While we don’t like to give any credence to rumors at Chicagoland Acura dealers, we’ve heard our fair share of experts predicting that the TSX Sport Wagon might not be coming back for 2014 as Acura works to consolidate resources among vehicles like the 2014 MDX and ILX.
A Truly Versatile Vehicle
While you can rest assured that we’ll let you know the second we know anything as to whether the TSX Sport Wagon is being discontinued, for now we’d like to extoll some of its many virtues so that you might take one for a spin and see if it’s the car for you.
To start with, it’s clearly a relative of the Acura TSX Sedan, but with a bit of added room by taking on the Sport Wagon body type, making it an ideal choice for drivers seeking a new family car. While you may not see where it all comes from, that little bit of a stretched out body from the sedan to the sport wagon results in a cargo capacity of 61 cubic feet.
This TSX also comes standard with a 4-cylinder 201-hp engine that’s paired with a five-speed automatic transmission that will make it easy for the kids to learn how to drive once they’ve gotten old enough.
Like the entire 2013 Acura lineup, the Sport Wagon isn’t hurting for features, with the basic trim including amenities such as xenon headlights, heated front seating, Bluetooth phone and audio streaming, and much more.
Put simply, it’s a luxury vehicle that gives you what you want in a sedan with the storage that causes many drivers to pursue a crossover vehicle.
Test Drive the TSX Sport Wagon Today
We hope to see the TSX Sport Wagon return for 2014, but if you want a luxurious and versatile car, you’re going to want to check out the 2013 model at a Chicagoland Acura dealer.
