Acura SUV-X Concept Receives High Praise
The experts at autoblog previewed the Acura SUV-X Concept that debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show, and much like them, we hope to see it on the streets of Chicago someday. The vehicle, should it hit its production model soon, will likely look a bit different than the concept, but we hope the sleek curves and handful of chrome accents are there to stay.
Coming to China in a Few Years
That’s right, this Acura is currently only slated for release in China, and even then it is a few years off, but there is much to be gained from looking at concepts from across the world. One of the biggest advantage is seeing whether other countries might be a test market before bringing the vehicle to a broader audience, as this would give area drivers a glimpse into the future of the brand.
With sharp styling and responsive handling, the SUV-X is sure to impress drivers pretty quickly. And a lot could happen in three years; if we don’t see it make it’s way across the Pacific, seeing some of those design elements show up in the North American Acura line could easily happen.
Another big announcement at the Shanghai Auto Show was that the Acura RLX would be going on sale in China in June of this year. The RLX is a part of the current Acura lineup, available at your Chicagoland Acura dealer, and includes a range of amenities and luxury features that are sure to keep you comfortable and well-connected behind the wheel.
One of the leading mid-size luxury sedans, the RLX continues to impress drivers and serves well as an entry into the luxury vehicle market, with five distinct trims to choose from.
