Acura Adds a Special Edition TL
Although there have yet to be announcements of the future of the popular Acura TL, the 2013 model is still going strong, and the automaker has recently revealed a special edition trim level that includes new features and will be available soon at Chicagoland Acura dealers. Be sure to visit soon before all of the Special Editions have disappeared.
What’s in the Special Edition?
As of right now, there are just two options available to TL drivers: the basic model (pictured) and the TL SH-AWD (for Super Handling-All Wheel Drive). With Technology and Advance packages available for upgrades, drivers were able to customize the TL to fit their needs, and the Special Edition trim level slides right in between the standard model and the TL with Technology Package.
Features found in the Special Edition include:
- Keyless entry with push-button ignition
- Rear spoiler
- 18-inch wheels
These are in addition to amenities already found on the TL, like dual-zone climate control, a 276-watt audio system, a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, and the impressive 3.5L V6 with its 286 hp purring under the hood.
For drivers that were already looking to add an Acura to their garage, upgrading to the TL Special Edition adds a bit of convenience and style onto an already impressive auto. It’s especially appealing to those that want to drive a step up from the basic model but aren’t particularly interested in all of the amenities offered by the Technology or Advance packages.
