What the A-Spec Brings to Acura

The A-Spec packages are available on the ILX, TLX, RDX, and the MDX and add performance-enhancing features to make these impressive Acura vehicles even more so. The 2019 MDX A-Spec will add a sporty, aggressive, and compelling presence on the road to this elegant and luxurious three-row SUV. Making the MDX even more thrilling to drive, the A-Spec package is the way to go for drivers who just love to drive.

Appearance

On the exterior you’ll note larger wheels with 20-inch shark gray alloy wheels, body-colored lower sills and bigger exhaust finishers. The front fascia has a more aggressive and sharper look with dark chrome detailing for the headlights and grille. Inside, the A-Spec features sport seats trimmed in red or black leather with high-contrast stitching. The steering wheel is thicker and features paddle shifters so drivers can transition through the gears seamlessly for a more engaging experience behind the wheel.

Performance

The A-Spec comes with Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) that offers sharper and more agile handling and better control, even in inclement weather or less-than-ideal road conditions. With a more powerful engine and a sport-tuned chassis and suspension, and paired with a sophisticated transmission, the A-Spec expertly delivers its generated power to the wheels. The A-Spec also boasts AcuraWatch safety features that help drivers stay safe. The suite of driver-assistive technology includes systems that prevent or mitigate incidents and impacts.
