The Technology and Advance packages come with an On Demand Multi-Use Display, which is a touchscreen interface in the center console that lets you manage up to 11 different audio sources from FM or XM radio to USB drive, CD, or even smartphone apps. Plus, the multi-use display gives you quick access to favorite audio presets, climate control combinations, navigation locations, and speed-dial favorites.

RLX

The 2017 Acura RLX represents the height of luxury. The Technology Package includes an Acura/ELS Audio system with 14 speakers that be operated by the center touchscreen, through voice-recognition commands or steering wheel controls. The systems can output 5.1 multi-channel surround sound using DTS neural sound and includes six mid-range speakers, six titanium dome tweeters, a mid-range center speaker, and a subwoofer. The Note function lets you store SiriusXM song information and a 10-second sample so you can recall it later. The upper-tier Advance Package includes a 14-speaker Krell audio system that features amplifier channels with robust, bipolar power transistors—the same featured in Krell’s home systems. Six mid-bass drivers are made from Zylon, the world’s strongest super fiber, for sharper clarity of mid-range to bass sounds. The elegant metal speaker grills minimize vibration for an enjoyable entertainment experience.

RDX

The 2017 Acura RDX is a sporty luxury crossover that boasts ample efficiency and versatility. The Technology, AcuraWatch Plus, and Advance packages offer an ESL Studio Premium Audio System with 10 speakers designed by Grammy Award–winning recording engineer and producer Elliot Scheiner. The 10 speakers include one per door, two tweeters, one center mid-ranger, two rear surround, and one power 8-inch subwoofer for full, vibrant surround sound. Acura’s Active Sound Control maintains a smoother and quieter engine sound.

MDX

The luxurious 2017 Acura MDX is a crossover that represents the perfect balance of luxury, performance, comfort, and safety. The MDX also features a 10-speaker ESL Premium Audio System, with an optional 11th speaker on the Technology Package all the way up to a 12th speaker on the Advance Package. The MDX also features acoustic glass used for the windshield, and front and rear door windows to minimize outside sound interference.
