Do the 2015 Audi A4 Features Compare to the Acura TLX?
2015 Acura TLX has been in the Chicagoland area for a while now, and one of the most common questions we’ve received from our luxury car shoppers is, “How does it compare to the 2015 Audi A4 features?” Now, as Acura dealers, we have a bit of a bias in favor of the TLX, but we think that when you compare key features – from amenities to fuel economy to warranty – you’ll see that the TLX comes out ahead of the Audi.
Acura Offers Affordable Luxury
We wanted to cover just how much more affordable the TLX is than the A4 before we dive into the differences between the features. To start with, the 2015 Acura TLX has a price of just $31,445 (MSRP)*, while the Audi A4 is priced at $35,500. You’ll save more on your monthly fuel bills with the TLX as well:
- The 2015 TLX 8-Spd DCT earns an EPA-estimated 35 highway mpg.**
- The Audi A4 is rated at just 32 highway mpg.
And in the long term, Acura works hard to protect your investment with a 72-month/70,000-mile powertrain warranty. The Audi’s powertrain warranty only lasts for 48 months or 50,000 miles.
Find More Features in a TLX
With all of these advantages already on the TLX’s side, it’s hard to believe that there’s even more that sets it head of the Audi A4. And yet you can find all of the following features on every TLX, while the more expensive Audi requires an upgrade for them (if they’re even available):
- Driver side seat memory settings
- Rearview camera system
- Heated front seating
- Noise cancellation
- Jewel Eye LED headlights
- Paddle shifters
We’re not quite sure where the extra cost of the Audi A4 comes from, but it’s certainly not the features.
