0-60 MPH Times Released for the RLX

July 25th, 2013 by

One of the best parts about being a Chicagoland Acura dealer is that almost any time of the year can seem like Christmas morning, as we can never be sure when a new announcement or bit of news is going to come out about an upcoming or currently available Acura model.

So, when we heard that the official 0-60 mph times had been released for the 2014 Acura RLX, well, we just had to unwrap the news and tell you all about it.

Style and Speed Combined

One of Acura’s most popular vehicles for the 2014 lineup, the RLX is going to be the apple in the eye of many drivers until they can get their hands on the brand new NSX in a couple of years. Loaded with the latest in performance and entertainment technology, the RLX has PAWS – Precision All-Wheel-Steering – and is powered by a 310-hp 3.5L V6 engine.

Official times on the RLX have been clocked at 6.3 seconds to go from rest to 60 mph, but drivers seeking something a bit more exciting can look forward to the RLX Sport Hybrid with SH-AWD, kicking out an incredible 370 hp from its electric/gasoline hybrid engine. Rest assured that when we hear acceleration times for the Sport Hybrid, you’ll be the first drivers we let know.

Because this is an Acura, drivers know to expect only the best when it comes to the cabin, and the RLX delivers. Standard amenities include

  • Tri-zone climate control
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • 10-speaker ELS sound system
  • HD and satellite radio

If that’s not enough for you, though, optional upgrades like AcuraLink, navigation, a 14-speaker sound system, and more are all available.

Drive Home the RLX Today

There are few things more enjoyable than putting the pedal to the floor and doing it in style, and there really are not many options for that on the road that don’t bear the Acura name. The 2014 Acura RLX demands to be taken seriously, giving drivers the luxury care experience they deserve. Test drive one today at a Chicagoland Acura dealership.
